A Mass offering isn't a payment — it's a way of holding someone close: a name spoken at the altar, a life remembered in prayer, whether they're still with us or not.

Diocesan Policy

The Diocese has updated its policy on Mass offerings. Any monetary offering you make now goes into a restricted parish fund for clergy relief. It can no longer be directed to a designated charity (such as CAFOD, the Sisters of Mercy in Kenya, or the Infant Jesus Sisters School in Nigeria).

Guidelines

  • Only one Mass offering per Mass is permitted.
  • Requested dates cannot always be guaranteed — your intention may be scheduled for the nearest available date, which may be a weekday Mass rather than the specific date you requested.
£10 Diocesan guideline per offering — more or less may be given depending on your circumstances.
